Sheriff Dison warns citizens to be
alert to unknown vehicles
Sheriff Dison is requesting the assistance
of any citizens who see vehicles in the area of their residences
which they have not seen in the past. With the prices of scrap
steel and other ferrous metals at an all time high, thefts are
becoming more common.
Additionally, with the coming of planting
season, citizens should be on the look out for suspicious vehicles
around fertilizer plants and anhydrous tanks sitting in the fields.
If you see anyone you do not know,
please call the Stark County Sheriff’s office at (309) 286-2541
or dial 911.
