OFFICAL PRESS RELEASE FROM HENRY COUNTY: On 11/29/11 at approx, 16:15 hours, Henry County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle accident south east of Kewanee, IL. 2 subjects were taken to Kewanee Hospital then air lifted to a Peoria area hospital. There were 3 confirmed fatalities. Accident remains under investigation by Henry Co. Sheriff’s Office. Release of names pending family notification. Henry Co. Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Kewanee Police Department, Kewanee Fire and EMS, Kewanee Rural Fire, Galva Ambulance Service, District 7 State Police, and Henry Co. Coroner’s Office.
