Sheriff’s Accident Report

7-16-10 – A deer related vehicle accident occurred on Route 91 approximately one-fourth mile north of 500 N . The driver involved was identified as Michael D. Dougherty, 50, of Toulon. There were no injuries reported or citations issued, but the vehicle did sustain over $1,500 in damages.
7-18-10 – A single vehicle traffic accident occurred along Route 78 approximately a half mile south of 100 N. Driver Timothy D. Milroy, 49, of Toulon, was traveling south when a deer ran into the driver’s door. There were no injuries reported or citations issued, but the vehicle did sustain over $1,500 in damages.

Sheriff’s  Incident Report

7-18-10 – The Stark County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident involving criminal damage to property after a couple of traffic signs and a propane tank were spray painted with graffiti. The incident remains under investigation through Stark County Deputy Chuck Demetreon.
7-21-10 – Diane R. Brimmer, 47, of Toulon, turned herself into the Stark County Sheriff’s Department on a civil body attachment warrant issued through Bureau County She posted $100 cash bond and was released.
7-21-10 – The Stark County Sheriff’s office investigated in incident involving a crop duster plane that crash landed in a field near Lombardville. There were no injuries reported.
7-21-10 – Daniel R. Smith, of Toulon, reported a break-in to his residence. The incident was investigated through the Stark County Sheriff’s Office. No items were reported missing.
7-23-10 – Mark V. Porter, 35, of Rockford, was arrested by Stark County Chief Deputy Robert Winn, on a Knox County body attachment warrant. He posted $5,000 cash bond and was released with a new court date to appear in Knox County.
7-23-10 – Zachary A. Ross, 23, of Bradford, was issued a notice to appear for disorderly conduct.
7-24-10 – Autumn M Meeker, 26, Bradford, was issued a notice to appear for allowing her dogs to run at large by Stark County Animal Control Officer Gary Bent.
7-25-10 – Michael G. Duckett, 19, of Wyoming, was served a Rock Island County warrant by authorities at the Stark County Sheriff’s Office. Duckett was already in custody at the Stark County jail on pending charges in Stark County. His bond in Rock Island was set at ten-percent of $20,000.
7-25-10 – Criminal damage to property was reported to authorities after evidence was discovered of where an unidentified vehicle driver had driven through a residential property and a cornfield located south of Toulon.
7-25-10 – A reported underage drinking party at a rural Toulon residence was investigated by Stark County Deputy Gary Bent. The incident remains under investigation.
