Accidents

3-5-11 – A single vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Route 91 and 300 N at 10:05 a.m.  Driver, Terry R. Goodman, 59, of Galesburg, reportedly was traveling east when he failed to negotiate the stopped intersection.  There were no injuries reported, but Goodman was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Incidents

3-1-11 – A 16-year-old LaFayette boy was arrested at Stark County High School for possession of drug paraphernalia.  He was released with a notice to appear.
3-1-11 – Scott A. Frazelle, 35, of Princeville, turned himself in on a Peoria County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge for driving under the influence.  He posted the necessary bond and was released with a court date to appear.
3-3-11 – Jason A. Byrd, 33, of Manlius, was extradited from LaSalle County authorities after being arrested on a Stark County warrant for failure to appear on the original charges for speeding and driving while his license was suspended.  Unable to post $100 cash bond, he remains incarcerated at the Stark County Jail.
3-4-11 – A 16-year-old Toulon boy was reported missing to authorities at the Stark County Sheriff’s Department.  The minor was later located and taken into custody before being returned back to a parent.
3-4-11 – A suspected vehicle theft attempt was reported to authorities by a Toulon resident in the 200 block of Jefferson Street in Toulon.  The incident remains under investigation.
3-5-11 – Threats and harassment were the source of complaint received from a Wyoming resident in the 500 block of North Galena Avenue in Wyoming.
