Toulon – Kelsey Fisher Clifford, 15, of Toulon, Illinois, died at 5:02 p.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at Kewanee Hospital Emergency Department, the result of a single car accident south of Kewanee.

Kelsey was born April 10, 1996, in Kewanee, the son of Richard A. and Kathleen M. Fisher Clifford. He was a sophomore at Stark County High School.

Surviving are his parents, a sister, Bailey (Sadie DeWolfe) Clifford of Toulon; a brother, Tyler, of Toulon; his maternal grandparents, Jack and Anne Fisher of West Jersey; and Kelsey’s best friend, Danielle Kenney of Toulon. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George and Bertha Clifford.

Kelsey played bass guitar and percussion in the school band. He also played golf on the school’s team. He loved to cook, play video games, and enjoyed spending time with his friends, especially Danielle. Kelsey enjoyed life and was always smiling.

Funeral services for Kelsey were at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2011, at Toulon Funeral Home. Rev. Art Nutzhorn  officiated. Visitation was from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial was in Toulon Cemetery.
