Peoria –Kenneth R. Becket, 16, formerly of Toulon, Illinois, died at 7:38 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2012, at his residence.

Kenneth was born on July 20, 1995 in Norfolk, Virginia.

Surviving are his parents, Donald L. (Judy Kimzey) Becket of Peoria, Illinois; Kathleen (Aaron Allott) Bradshaw of Toulon; three sisters, Abbigail and Clair Becket and Rachel Allott all of Toulon; one brother Nicholas Becket of Toulon; one nephew Albert Kenneth Becket; grandfather, Richard Becket of Toulon; grandmother, Ellen Bradshaw of Toulon.  Also surviving are several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Paula Becket, grandfather, Floyd Bradshaw, sister Bridgette Becket, and great-grandparents Ted and Nadine Pyle.

Kenneth was a student at Peoria Regional High School.  Kenneth was loved very much by his family and friends.  Kenny was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Toulon Funeral Home with Rev. Al Harmon officiating.  Visitation was held from 1-3 p.m. on Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the funeral services and burial of ashes will be at Toulon Cemetery at a later date.
