Wyoming - Audrey Darlene (Wood) Herridge, 84, of Wyoming, Illinios, passed away at 6:17 a.m. on Monday, May 30, 2011.  She was born on July 17, 1926 in Lacon, Illinois, to the late Leslie Porter and Hazel Irene (McLaughlin) Wood.  She married Burt Ronald Herridge on March 29, 1946 at the United Presbyterian Church in La Prairie Center, he survives.

She is also survived by two sons; Fred (Madeline) Herridge of Gordonville, Texas, Ron (Sue) Herridge of Toulon; three daughters, Beverly (Dean) Creason of Laura, Sandra (George) Naseef and Charlene (Pablo) Ybarra, both of Fort Worth, Texas; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one brother, Lewis (Shirley) Wood of Hurst, Texas.

Audrey was a member and past President of Wyoming American Legion Post #91 Auxiliary and was also in the color guard.  She operated the Wyoming Hotel from 1955 until 1982 and was a member of the First Congregational Church of Wyoming.

Private graveside services will be held in the La Prairie United Presbyterian Church Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the First Congregational Church of Wyoming.
