This year seems to be flying by. It is March and that means so many changes are coming. Spring, Summer Reading Program, graduations, and here at the library it means we will be changing our hours. Starting April we will be open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. There will be notices in the Prairie Shopper that you will be able to cut out and put on your refrigerator to help you remember.
Our library programs are going well. Story Time and Book Friends meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month. If your child would like to come please let Linda know so she has enough supplies for everyone. There’s more information on our website, www.toulonpld.org, and our Facebook page.
Library staff will be attending RSA Day on Tuesday, March, 27, 2018, at Peoria Public Library. We attend this to learn how to better serve our patrons. The library will be open normal hours this day.
Please remember that services we offer are: copies (20 cents per sheet), laminating, faxing (receiving and sending) for a small fee. If you can’t find a book just let us know and we will put a hold on it for you.
Some of the new DVD/Blu Rays are: Cars 3, Justice League, Crisis on two Earths, Whipped, Boss Baby, and The Big Sick. These DVD’s are ready for you to check them out.
New non-fiction books: Apple Cider Vinegar for Health by Britt Brandon, CFNS, CPT, Amish Cooking Class Cookbook by Wanda E. Brunstetter, Fire and Fury by Michael Wolff, and Veterans Voices by Robert H. Miller and Andrew Wakeford.
