Rebels even on the season with win Monday

Battling the weather and their opponents, the Rebels varsity baseball team remained even at .500 on the season.

Cade Tuthill eyes the incoming ball to third base as a Princeville player slides into the bag.

Against Princeville, the Rebels fell 14-3 last Thursday. Prior to that game, three contests had been postponed or cancelled due to the weather. Action on Saturday was again postponed.

Payton Browning fields a pick-off attempt to first base.

On Monday night the team bounced back and defeated Midland, 14-3, in Varna. Bryce LaFollett did not give up a hit after a leadoff single in the third inning. He went all seven innings, striking out six, walking three and allowing no earned runs.

The Rebels are now 3-3 on the season with a full schedule this week.
