Toulon church collecting pop tabs for Ronald McDonald House

Toulon – Recognizing how important Ronald McDonald House Charity has been to several local children and their families, the First Congregational Church of Toulon is collecting pop tabs. Collecting pop tabs is a great way to raise funds to help children and their families for local, regional RMHC programs.

Ronald McDonald House Charity has been helping families with sick children find comfort and support when they need it most.  RMHC’s programs can be found in 64 plus countries and regions across the world.

RMHC provides vital resources and compassionate care to children and their families being served by leading hospitals worldwide. RMHC programs including — Ronald McDonald Houses, Ronald McDonald Family Rooms, and Ronald McDonald Care Mobiles — provide access to health care and enable family-centered care. RMHC has helped lessen the burden for more than 5.5 million families in 2016.

Look for special RMHC pop tab collection jars, designed by Church Mission Team member Amanda Murray-Dynes, at schools, community and civic groups, and other local organizations in your area. You can also contact the Church to ask about getting your own house, Church, group, or business collection jar or place tabs in a zip-lock type baggie.

Collected tabs can be dropped off the Church any Sunday morning or by special arrangement through September 10, 2018.
