Rouse inducted into Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society

East Peoria – Laura Rouse, of Bradford, Illinois, accepted membership into Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at Illinois Central College during the Spring 2018 semester. The local, 5-star chapter is Upsilon Mu, and currently has more than 500 students.

Phi Theta Kappa is the only internationally recognized scholastic honor society for students of community colleges.

Membership is by invitation only and is based on scholarship, leadership, fellowship, and service.

Membership in ICC’s chapter requires that a student complete at least 12 credit hours of college level coursework with at least a 3.5 GPA. They must be enrolled at ICC in the semester for which they accept membership.
