SBT reports prosperous year at stockholders meeting

toulonOn Thursday, January 26, 2012, the Stark County Bancorp, Inc. held its 25th Annual Meeting of Stockholders.  Larry L. West, President of the Bancorp, reported that over forty stockholders and guests were present at the meeting.
During the business meeting, Douglas E. Parrott, President of State Bank of Toulon reported growth in total assets of 8% to $185 million, an increase in total deposits of 8% to $156 million, and an increase in loans of 4.5% to $96 million, as well a 13% increase in the bank’s capital to $17 million.    
Incumbents Douglas E. Parrott and Ronald E. LaDuke were re-elected for 3-year terms as Directors of the Stark County Bancorp, Inc.
Larry L. West was re-elected as President of the Stark County Bancorp, Inc., Patrick J. Sullivan was re-elected Vice President, Douglas E. Parrott was re-elected Treasurer and Bethany R. Winslow was re-elected Secretary to the board of the Bancorp.
Promotions were announced at the annual meeting.  Douglas J. Blunier was promoted to Vice President.  Doug and his wife Carol live in rural Princeville with a daughter Chloe and sons Kaden and Levi, and began work with the bank in 2006.
Officers of the State Bank of Toulon for 2012 will be:  Larry L. West, Chairman of the Board, Douglas E. Parrott- President & CEO, Mark Rewerts- Sr. VP, Georgia Hicks – VP & Cashier, Ronald Rinkenberger-VP,  Douglas Blunier-VP, Donna Webber- Asst. VP, Lisa Barnett-Asst VP and Branch Manager at Kewanee Banking Center, Sue Good-Asst.VP and Branch Manager at the Galva Banking Center, Diane DeMay, Asst VP, Phil Daum, Consumer Loan Officer, and Marque Johnston, Asst. Cashier & IT Security Officer.
