The Prairie News is a free newspaper that is mailed to 7,000 households – from Princeville, across all of Stark County, and into parts of Henry County.

As the publication is free, we have to keep costs down by having a very limited staff.

Given that, if readers, clubs, local governments and organizations want to be sure to reach this total market coverage, you will have to help us out by letting us know, as for in advance as possible, of news you want to share.

We are always glad to put this information into paid advertising, of course. But quite often, we will also turn submissions we think are of importance and interest to readers into free news stories.

We also welcome story ideas. Stark County is filled with interesting people and stories. We would be happy to hear your thoughts and ideas.

If you have news, story ideas or other tidbits of information for The Prairie News, please email notice of the event or happening, and ideally information about the activity, to [email protected] or call (309) 286-4444.

We look forward to continuing to provide you a newspaper rich in news you will want to read, and we can do so with your help.
