1-21-19 – The Stark County Sheriff’s Department handled a four vehicle accident that occurred on Illinois Route 78 approximately 100 feet north of 1175N. Driver Zachary D. Bengston, 21, of Pekin, was traveling north in a 2004 GMC Sierra pickup truck when a trailer he was pulling jack-knifed and was struck by an oncoming vehicle being driven by William O. Minks, of Kewanee, which also caused a further chain reaction with two other vehicles being involved driven by Anthony J. Burgess, 29, of Peoria and Kasey R. Simmons, 30 , Brimfield. Bengston refused treatment at the scene but the other three drivers were all transported by Stark County Ambulance to St. Luke Hospital. No citations were issued. Winter weather road conditions were noted as a factor in the cause of the multi-vehicle accident.
1-21-19 – A domestic battery incident was reported by a rural Osceola resident. A 25-year-old Bradford man was initially arrested but was later released following a court order when the victim dropped all charges.
1-23-19 – Amanda C. Hill, 38, Wyoming, was issued a notice to appear for criminal trespass to a vehicle.
1-24-19 – The Wyoming Police Department investigated a reported incident of aggravated assault in the 1000 block of North Main Avenue, in Wyoming. Pending charges were initially reported as a result of the incident.
