Edward L. Hasbrook

BRADFORD – Edward L. Hasbrook, 74, of Bradford, Ill. passed away Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019, at his home.
He was born Aug. 26, 1944, in Princeton, Ill., the son of Roy and Lola (Headley) Hasbrook. Ed married his high school sweetheart, Dianne Petersen June 27, 1965, at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Princeton. They shared 53 years together. She survives in Bradford.
Also surviving: two sons: Troy (Robin Lindner) Hasbrook of Bradford, and Shannon (Jodi VanWassenhove) Hasbrook of Neponset, Ill.; one daughter, Angela (Rob) Joos of Neponset; four grandchildren: Anthony (Katy) Moore of Neponset, Megan (David Washburn) Eble of Iowa City, Iowa, Mercedes Hasbrook of Neponset, and Kyle Joos of Neponset; one step-granddaughter, Sophie VanWassenhove of Neponset; one great-granddaughter, Amelia; two step-great-grandchildren: Braydon and Arianna; two brothers: Don (Norine) Hasbrook of Fall River, Wis., and Richard (Trudy) Hasbrook, Tulare, Calif.; two sisters: Margaret (Bruce) Bryner of Galva, Ill., and Katherin (Frank) Mason of Bradford, Ill.; many nieces and nephews.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Gene, Jim, and Rob; three sisters: Betty Griffin, Carrie Stenros, and Elizabeth in infancy.
He graduated from Western High School in Buda with the Class of 1964. “Easy Ed” worked at Pines/Great Dane in Kewanee for 38 years.
He loved farming, auctions, camping, and traveling.
Visitation was held Wednesday., Feb. 13, 2019, from 5-7 p.m. at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Bradford. A funeral service was held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019, at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Bradford. Rev. Jan Ringenberg officiated.
Burial was in Osceola Grove Cemetery in rural Bradford.
