Incidents

5-26-15 – Jesses J. Hall, 21, of Bradford, reported a theft from his shed.  The incident remains under investigation.
5-29-15 – A child custody dispute was reported by a Lacon resident.
5-29-15 – Harassment and threats were the source of a complaint from a Bradford resident in the 100 block of South Street.
5-29-15 – Bonnie L. Stewart, 69, of Kewanee, was arrested on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear on a larceny charge.  She was transported to the Henry County Jail.
5-30-15 – Thomas W. Phelps, 44, of Manlius, was arrested for domestic battery.  He appeared in court and was released with a notice to appear.

5-9-15 – A notice to appear for battery was not issued to Stacy Lantz, 35, of Wyoming.

Accidents

5-23-15 – A single vehicle accident occurred on 600 N a quarter of a mile east of 1500 E.  Driver Alissa I.A. Lawrence, 17, of Peoria, was traveling west when she lost control of her vehicle and left the road and rolled several times.  Both the driver and a passenger, identified as Hope D. Bays, 16, of Wyoming, were transported by Stark County Ambulance to OSF St. Francis Hospital in Peoria.  The vehicle was totaled.
5-23-15 – A single vehicle accident occurred on Route 40 approximately a half mile from the intersection of 800 N.  The driver involved was identified as Matthew J. Shipp, 37, of Toulon.  Shipp refused treatment along with two other passengers, but a third victim, Charles R. Demetreon, 38, of Wyoming, was transported to OSF St. Francis Hospital in Peoria.  No tickets were issued, but the vehicle sustained over $1,500 in estimated damages.
5-30-15 – A single vehicle accident occurred on Route 17 approximately 100 feet east of 200 E.  Driver Michael G. Nelson, 67, of Savoy, was traveling west on Route 17 when he dropped off the edge of the road and onto the gravel.  The driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a sign post.  No tickets were issued, but the damages to the vehicle were estimated at over $1,500.
5-31-15 – A motorcycle –vehicle accident was reported at 11:57 a.m. on East Main Street in LaFayette.  The driver of the vehicle was identified as John A. Ballentine, 63, of Toulon.  He was ticketed for failure to yield while turning left and the victims refused any medical treatment.
