Public Health Week Promotion Clinic in Kewanee

The Henry and Stark County Health Departments announce they will showcase their ongoing efforts “to protect and improve the health of the community,” during National Public Health Week, April 4-10, 2016.

In keeping with National Public Health Week’s mission of promoting healthier living and achieving the goal of “healthiest nation by 2030,” the Health Department will conduct Health Check Clinics featuring a combination General Health/Thyroid Panel Blood Test for only $50.  This test includes a full lipid “Cholesterol” panel.  Please note, fasting is recommended for this test for optimum results.

In addition, the Department will offer a $5 basic Lipid “Cholesterol” Panel.

In addition to the General Health/Thyroid Panel and basic Lipid Panel tests; the Health Department will offer the PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) blood test available FREE-OF-CHARGE for men 40 years of age and older.  Men 40-50 will need a physician’s order for the test. 

The Health Department Public Health Week Clinics will be held for one week only, Monday, April 4th- Friday, April 8th.Please note, these lab specials are available on a “Cash Only” basis.
