Kewanee – OSF Saint Luke Medical Center will host a free Lunch & Learn Thursday, March 30 at Noon at Henry County Senior Center, 200 East South Street, Kewanee.
Featured speakers will be Sarah Cebula, LCSW, OSF Medical Group-Kewanee Clinical Counselor and Breanne Cinnamon, Physical Therapist. Their presentation, “Mind Matters” will address mental wellness and how exercise can support healthy aging.
“Exercise is crucial to maintain mobility as we age. Weak muscles can lead to difficulty getting up from a chair, walking around, and climbing a flight of stairs,” said Breanne Cinnamon, Physical Therapist.
“It’s easy to find yourself feeling sad or lonely and you are not alone. Please join us as we discuss the mental health benefits of exercise as well as other practical solutions for maintaining a positive outlook on life. Enjoy the fellowship of a free lunch and learn how you can take control of your mental and emotional well-being,” said Sarah Cebula, Clinical Counselor.
