Toulon – As we head into spring time and home improvement is beginning to take shape, State Bank of Toulon would like to announce some staffing changes that we think will make customer experiences even better.
Philip Daum will be re-directing his duties and heading up the Consumer Loan Division in Toulon. Phil has been employed at the bank since August, 2007. Phil began his career with the bank in the Compliance area and quickly moved to the Mortgage and Consumer loans. Phil has extensive experience in the consumer lending area and will concentrate on building the bank’s business in personal loans consisting of auto and motorcycle loans, home improvement loans, and working with the area auto dealers as well. Phil resides in Wyoming with his wife Marjorie and sons Caden and Conner.
Ashlyn Smith will be moving from the loan department at the Kewanee location and will now take over the mortgage department at the Toulon location. Ashlyn is the daughter of Kelly Smith, of Toulon, and the late Todd Smith. She has been employed at the bank since June of 2014. Ashlyn worked for several summers at the bank as an intern while attending Bradley University, where she graduated with a BS degree in Finance. Ashlyn began as a full-time teller and quickly moved into the lending department as an assistant. Ashlyn is presently engaged to be married to Christopher Baumann and resides in Toulon.
Both Phil and Ashlyn look forward to working with customers both in the mortgage department and consumer loans. Stop in and visit with them at your convenience.
